Well, it has been a while, hasn’t it? It’s nine at night right now and we just had a really long drive from Nashville, TN. Girls, I have decided where I am living. Yes, it’s Nashville. I love it to death. You know where all the cowboys are? Nashville! Imagine that! The place is teeming with them — and you know what, they actually DO wear cowboy hats, and drive jacked-up Chevies, and listen to country music! Another reason is that the people there are so pleasant and personable it’s almost unbelievable. And the city itself is lovely. And then there is the best part of all — the music. We had the wonderful privilege of getting to go to the Grand Ole Opry before leaving Nashville — just Mom and my sisters and me. We almost didn’t make it because Mom got a migraine headache, but she recovered in time. It was so much fun, if I lived there I would go every Saturday night! This particular night Jason Aldean, Joe Nichols, John Anderson, John Rich, Jewel and Jason Michael Carrol were all performing. Jason Aldean just happens to be a BIG favorite here in the girly group… Anyway, we had a wonderful time shopping at Marshalls and a book store beforehand and the performance was just amazing.
Today we made a long drive north to Hebron, the home of the Creation Museum. Hebron is so familiar it’s almost like a second home! On our way up we stopped at Mammoth Cave and took a look at it after seven years. It hasn’t changed much. Then we went to Diamond Caverns and took a tour. It was rather damp and my shoes got soaked, but it was actually very fascinating. The formations were beautiful.
Tomorrow we’ll see the AiG museum, my first time in its completed form, the second for my sibs; then at some point within the next couple days, we’re coming home. I’m glad! I’m missing you people!
I envy you sooooooooo much!!!!

I am DRIPPING with jelousy! I have to admit. I’m at home right now, which is OK. But, OH YOU LUCKY!
Nashville sounds grand. I would DIE to go to the opry! (and see the cowboys!) (JK:) ) Well, not really. I’ve only seen it (the opry) on TV. Can’t wait to hear more about it!
I’m still dripping, you’ll have to mop of the envy next time you see me.
Wish my mom liked, well, she sorta does, like country music. I wonder if she’d go to the opry…? maybe…. hmmmm.. LOL
IDK, I’m glad for you:) HAHA:)
Have a good drive back:)
